Yamaha Tracer gets accessories from Sidmarx, with new screen, bellypan and rear hugger…
British bodywork specialists Skidmarx have developed two new screens for the Yamaha Tracer action tourer.
The standard screen is a direct replacement for the original item but designed to be more rigid at speed. Manufactured in the UK from 4mm acrylic sheet, it fits onto the four original mounting points and is reinforced with two additional upper mounts.
It sells for £79.95 including VAT.
For riders requiring more protection from wind and rain, the Tall version is 10cm (4 inches) longer than the standard screen.
Also made from rigid 4mm acrylic sheet with 6-point mounting, it retails at £89.95 including VAT.
Both screens are available in a choice of clear, light or dark tints.
The MT-09 specification bellypan and rear hugger from Skidmarx will also fit the Tracer.
Designed to follow the contours of the three cylinder motor and shield the engine and down pipes from dirt and dust thrown up from the road, the MT-09 belly pan is produced in the UK from GRP (Glass Reinforced Plastic), with a gel coat finish in black, red, blue or white. Priced at £79.95 it comes with a tailored fitting kit.
Skidmarx rear huggers are made in the UK from a choice of GRP or ultra light carbon fibre. Designed to provide under-body, shock and linkage protection, they have an integral chain guard and are supplied with a tailor made fitting kit, that bolts directly to existing mounting points.
GRP huggers sell for £79.95 including VAT and £139.95 in carbon fibre.
