“Fleet in a box” a portable e-motorcycles with their own solar charging station…
So here’s the latest thing in mobility; a ‘box’ that transports four electric scooters... The box itself folds out to be a huge solar panel capable of charging those scooters since it’s capable of collecting approximately 2.4kW of sun-power and can even store up to 22kWh in the built-in batteries!
The Nb Solar Charging Station (the ‘box’) can be easily transported by truck, rail, ship or helicopter to wherever it’s needed and the scooters deployed from there.
Being an electric vehicle the scooters are low maintenance; no gears, belts or chains and are specifically strengthened to carry more cargo and so two people and lots of luggage shouldn’t be an issue.
With a top speed of 70 mph and a range of 50 miles per charge the scooters also have Telematics on board and so asset tracking via GPS is made easy along with other stats to make the operator’s life simple.
The scooters are fully charged in 5 hours via the Charging Station and is all supplied by Current Motor, a U.S. company based in Ann Abor, Michigan.
Military and First Responder uses are anticipated.
